YouTubes to iTunes?

To benefit from coasting on the fame that Boris attracts and also as practice for the day I decide to do something completely different in my life I am going to post a short list of the requirements to successfully implementing the crrrrazy ideas that Boris mentions. This could potentially become a full time job due to his "propensity to generate thots (<- intentional)" but if nothing else it will give me something to fill the silence that occurs from time to time.
Also, my browser ate the comment I wrote (no, it really did) on his site and it pished me off enough to come up with this half baked idea. A combination of inspiration and too much reflected off the snow sunshine.
Think of this as Vapid Envelopment.

Now, with that overly verbose intro out of the way here we go.
Pieces Needed to make a Profitable YouTube (that wouldn't suck) as designed by Evan.
1) A payment engine that works with
2) A DRM layer that has capability bits to indicate how it can be worked with (see below for more info)
3) A nice way to have longer pieces of content indicate where they would like to put advertisements (as an alternative source of income for both hosting company and content producer).
4) A good way to let people know of good content, popular content, etc. Something in the realm of RSS + cable tv listings + searchable + filters = stuff I want to watch.
5) The usual No Suck™ uncluttered and usable web interface

To get back to the DRM. I would want to be able to have a DRM layer that manages things like licensing and viewing. If you wish to only watch, then it costs anywhere from Free to $$$. If you want to use/modify for your own project it costs anywhere from Free to $$$. I would like to know that other people have used my content (via some kind digital finger print that would show up in the "About Box" of the content).

So, find a cool domain name, some solid developers, some off the shelf tools and a bit of magic combiner code; you have a potentially neat company. A model that uses the Creative Commons while letting people choose if they want to make some (potentially) make some loot off their hard work.
How diplomatic of a social idea...
