Technology MeltDown Redux

Last night an eager group of attendees at the MeltDown happily mingled, chatted, and (re)introduced themselves.

The evening was well attended with some awesome exchange of ideas, some possible projects discussed and a mountain of information was gathered. There was some keen interest in keeping events like this rolling and I will be doing my best to make sure this event keeps happening every 6 to 8 weeks.

There was a keen interest expressed to do a short presentation at the next MeltDown. This is exactly what the MeltDown is about - conversations on technology and all the implications it can have on us, regardless of location.

To all the people that attended: Thanks!!

To the people that could not attend: See you next time!

Special thanks to Outside the Cube for hosting this iteration and providing the snacks and drinks.

ice machine

I brought this ice a few months ago. It functions wonderful and makes ice in about 15 minutes. I'm saving dollars by not acquiring bags of ice, and it on the actual hot days, it really is good to understand I can appreciate ice cold water anytime. At 1st the ice machine tasted funny, but that was due to the fact the Cube ice machine was new and had to be throughly clean by having the water pass via the pipes and cooling compartant. On the second use the taste was gone and I've been enjoying excellent tasting ice crushed maker ever because.I advise producing sufficient ice to location in ziploc bags and place in freezer so you'd not must run the machine a great deal.

Well it can be said

Well it can be said outstanding contribution in the IT (Information Technnology) horizon. Only few days ago I had attended in ICT info tec exhibition. I had a good chance to share ideas. I am well introduced with lots of new innovations. Of course I will try to attend in the next  MeltDown.

Appreciate the effort

Evan,

Thanks for doing such a killer job organizing this event. I really enjoyed myself and it was awesome to connect with people I know but haven't talked to for months, plus more importantly, all of new folks in town and in business. The Yukon IT community is small but quite varied and spread out so being able to get together in this type of relaxed atmosphere was terrific. Looking forward to the next session.
